TERMS & CONDITIONS
PLEASE, no pets! Sorry, for safety sake, except registered service animals.
CLOSURES
Although it seems obvious that sometimes it is dangerous to go too far out on a limb, and that a treehouse is not a legitimate safe room in a storm, we will officially limit access during heavy storms, or at any other times deemed by us as unsafe. It also must be noted that use of our facilities and activities can be inherently risky due to the unique nature of the experiences we offer. Therefore, when you visit and stay in a treehouse or participate in any activities on the property, we ask you to sign a release of liability and safety agreement.
SAFETY
Each unit has a smoke detector and carbon monoxide sensor. Please do not tamper with these units. Also, keep in mind that when staying in a treehouse, you are between 10’ and 40’ above the ground and should act in a responsible manner. We have made sure your accommodations are as safe as possible, but need your help in keeping you and your loved ones' safe while staying with us. Fire extinguishers are scattered around the treehouse, including one in each bedroom for your use in an emergency. Designated operational windows in each room are available for quick escape using a rope ladder in case of fire.
LIABILITY/RISK MANAGEMENT
Inherently we do as much as possible and look to improve in making our treehouses and the outside activities as safe as possible. We continue to pass any and all rigorous inspections by qualified authorities. All activities involve a certain inherent risk or injury up to and including death. It is expressly understood and agreed that neither the owner nor Highpoint Treehouses, LLC shall be liable for any damages or injury to guests, guest’s guest, or their families or to any of their property from whatever cause arising from the occupancy or use of the premises by guest and his/her family and guests.
DISCLAIMER
We cannot control nor are we responsible for any acts of nature. This includes but is not limited to: weather, insects, rodents or the presence of wildlife (bugs, deer, squirrels, raccoons, bats, skunks, wild hogs, armadillos, snakes, etc.).
So, when you stay with us, for mutual protection we ask you to sign our release of liability and safety agreement upon making your reservation.
